11 features work together to make your primary bush tool, STRONGER, LIGHTER, BETTER so you can adventure FARTHER, DEEPER, FASTER. More functionally diverse than any traditional big knife or bushcraft axe, means you can do more with less.
Use a “pistol-whip” style swing to unleash the unexpectedly awesome chopping power of the Axxis. This “in-hand rotation” gives the blade a far greater edge velocity than would be expected from a tool of this size.
At only 14oz, the Axxis is far lighter than its closest competitors. With this pint-size tool, you can easily dispatch of any task that would normally require a much larger axe to complete.
The Axxis can quickly be attached to a haft to make a full-size camp axe for heavy chopping and felling larger trees.
Multiple Grip Options
Boasting an astounding 10 different grip options – perhaps more – the Axxis can be used in more ways than we dare count, and the holes of its skeletonized body fit fingers of all sizes.
The Axxis doesn’t discriminate. Even the Kydex sheath can be reversed for left-handed users.
With more than 5 1/2 inches of hair-poppin edge length from a tool that’s a mere 7 inches overall, we dare say it’s the littlest big axe that’s ever been made! And, it’s slim profile fits discreetly in your pocket.
Easy to Maintain
One solid piece. No moving parts. Wipe the Axxis down with a little oil before you tuck her in at night and she’ll be as good as new in the morning.
Titanium Nitride Finish
Every Axxis hand axe is finished with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating, increasing hardness, durability, and corrosion resistance.
Strategic Lashing Holes
Tie the Axxis to a handle any way you want. The Axxis was designed with lashing holes strategically placed throughout the frame so that you can find the pattern that works best for you.
3/8” D2 Steel for Maximum Durability
This little beauty was cold forged from a solid hunk of 3/8” D2 Tool Steel. Not to be too punny, but in short, what the Axxis lacks in length it more than compensates for with exceptional girth.
Safety & Security
Because the finger holes are integrated with the frame of the Axxis, you have all ten fingers free for other uses. Giving you the secure grip to do more of what you need to do, when you need to do it, without ever having to put your Axxis down.
For extra security, the ambidextrous sheath guards the axe blade without interfering with your grip or lashings when mounted to a handle.
